Alpha Paw - Fannin County. Adoption program. May be a resource for friendly cats and kittens or information about local resources. They also have The Alpha Paw Foundation, a charitable foundation aimed at finding loving homes for as many rescues as possible through volunteering, donations, and events.

Animal Hope - Ft. Worth. Shelter but may offer some support for community cats as well as a possible option for friendly cats and kittens needing adoption. They also provide care for those with traumatic injuries, or in need of some behavioral correction.

Animal Protection League - East Texas. Spay/neuter. 30 locations including Sulpher Springs, Canton, Dangerfield, Crockett, Commerce, Emory, Hallsville, Longview, Paris, Mt. Barn Cat Crusaders (Facebook Page) - Mineral Wells. Barn cats, feral cats and any cat that needs to be rehomed to a barn or feral colony.

Barn Cats, Incorporated - Dallas, North Texas. They have healthy, sterilized feral and semi-feral cats in desperate need of new outdoor homes.  These cats need to live at a farm, horse stable, warehouse, plant nursery, or other suitable outdoor location.Also, check out their Facebook page.

Euless Shelter Cats Inc - Euless area. Facebook page. Volunteers working to improve the lives of cats at the animal shelter. It does not appear that they do any TNR but could be a resource for kittens and adoptable cats.

Farmers Branch Feral Cat TNR Program - Farmers Branch. Contact them at 972.919.8770 and request a cat trap or visit the Animal Adoption Center, located at 3727 Valley View Lane during business hours. All cats must be trapped within Farmers Branch.

Home Rescue - Arlington, DFW. Comprised of volunteers that participate in community outreach programs and adoption events that advocate early spay and neuter programs and TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts.

Humane Society of Navarro County - Corsicana, Navarro. Adoption, low-cost spay/neuter. Email: thehsnc@gmail.com. Unsure if they provide services for feral cats.

Humane Society of North Texas (HSNT) - Ft. Worth area, Kaufman (locations in both areas). Low-cost spay/neuter, trap loan program, and a resource for adoptable kittens and cats (appointments are recommended). The HSNT Clinic offers spay & neuter surgeries to North Texas residents regardless of residency or income. HSNT provides TNR services for residents of Fort Worth. If you are unable to schedule with the City of Fort Worth for free TNR services, please schedule an appointment at HSNT’s Clinic through our normal process (cat TNR is a flat fee of $30). Kittenchanted Rescue (Facebook page)- Dallas. Focus is Newborn Kittens. The group rescues orphaned kittens, pregnant cats, and nursing cats with kittens. Preemptive measures include TNR, as well as education and advocacy for spay and neuter.

Many Paws Rescue - Decatur. Nonprofit adoption facility. They state that they do not do TNR but may be a resource for adoptable kittens and cats. Visit their Facebook page.

Matilda’s Garden - Dallas/Fort Worth area. This is an all-volunteer foster-based non-profit cat rescue dedicated to helping area shelters achieve high live release rates, participates in TNR, socialization, and adoption.

Mid-Cities Community Cats - Northeast Tarrant County, Hurst, Euless, Bedford and adjoining cities. TNVR, educating the public and officials, and pursuing related activities that benefit community cats. This group states that they make life better for unowned, outdoor community cats in Northeast Tarrant County with Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR), medical care for the sick or injured, public education and related activities. Miss Fannies Friends - Cat Rescue TNR - Wichita Falls. Foster-based rescue, adoption, foster, TNR.

Mollie’s Cat Place- Azle (west of Ft. Worth). This is a lifetime sanctuary for older cats and cats with issues that make them hard to adopt, particularly feline aids (FIV) and feline leukemia (FeLV).

Mount Pleasant Animal Services and Shelter (Facebook page) - Mount Pleasant, Pittsburg, Gilmer, Titus County. Does not provide TNR services or support as the city ordinance does not permit it. Possible resource for adoption of friendly cats and kittens. Their website states “The care of stray and unwanted animals and the eradication of rabies from the community’s animal population are critical to our operation.” Visit their website. The website also states they do stray and injured animal rescue. Nearest low-cost spay/neuter clinic is the Animal Protection League.

New Beginnings Cat Rescue (NBCR) (Facebook Page)- Garland. Adoption group but does list low-cost spay/neuter options. Might be a source for connecting with trappers and other resources.

New Hope Cat Rescue and Sanctuary - Kennedale (Tarrant County, Fort Worth). This group is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to provide shelter and care for stray, abused, and abandoned cats; to find suitable homes for the cats in its care; and to promote positive community interaction through education, spay-neuter programs (TNR), and other activities that enable people to responsibly enjoy the companionship of cats.

North Texas Barn Cats - Bedford. Connects North Texas barn owners with un-adoptable cats.

North Texas Feral Cat Assistance - Tarrant and surrounding counties. Assists with education and loan of supplies to manage a feral cat colony including TNR. Check out their Facebook page.

Operation Kindness - Carrollton, North Texas. Providing assistance to animals in need of medical care, companionship, adoption, forensics for animal cruelty, and much more. Check this page for affordable veterinary services for community cats. This page is all about their Pet Food Pantry! Might also be an option for kitten foster and adoption.

Panther City Feral Cat Coalition (Fort Worth Ferals) - Ft. Worth. TNR education and support, trap loan program.

Pawsome Purrpaws Rescues (Facebook Page) - Princeton, Collin County. We are not clear on what this group does. It appears that they do some rescue and adoption. Contact them for more information.

PetVet Relief - Low Cost spway/neuter clinics serving Quinlan, Denison, Lone Oak, Bohnam, Sherman, Paris, Weatherford, Gainesville , Mineral Wells, Cresson, Decatur, Mesquite, Fort Worth, Corsicana and Stephenville. Feline spay/neuter is $60 (as of 10/2023).

Royse City Animal Services - Royse City. TNR, provides spay/neuter and trap rental.

Sadie’s Place Rescue - Lone Oak. Supports rescue of dogs and cats.

Safe Haven Cat Sanctuary - Haslet. Provides for the socialization, vetting, and adoption of feral cats and kittens for placement in permanent homes. Sandy’s Feral Fun (Facebook page) - Tom Bean, Grayson County. Small organization. May be able to help with TNR, spay/neuter and adoption.

Saving Hope Rescue - Fort Worth, Tarrant and surrounding counties. Saves unwanted & abused animals, rehabilitates them and finds their forever homes. Visit their website. Email them!

Seagoville Animal Services - Seagoville. Unsure of what services they provide for community cats but may have adoption for friendly cats and kittens and a trap loan program.

Spay Neuter Network - Dallas, Ft. Worth, Crandall and other locations. Spay/Neuter program for feral cats. The program requires that the cat is feral, trapped in a humane trap and then brought to one of their walk-in clinics. Friendly neighborhood cats, barn cats or your owned cats do not qualify. No appointments are taken. 10 cats a day accepted first-come-first-serve. If clinics are at capacity, cats may be held until the next day. Please note that if you bring a cat in that is found to already be spayed or neutered, the grant will not pick up cost associated with the services rendered. Please note that no-cost spay and neuter is available for dogs and cats that are pets.

Spay Neuter Your Pet (SNYP) - Dallas, Ft. Worth. Provides listings of local resources for spay/neuter. As of July 2023, this program was no longer active. Please check with them as it might have been temporary.

SPCA of Texas - Dallas, Ft. Worth. Spay/neuter, vaccinate for Rabies. $50. TNR Program.

Texas Cares - Dallas, Fort Worth. Foster and adoption of unwanted cats and kittens.

Texas Coalition for Animal Protection - Various locations. AKA Texas For Them and Feral Fix Program. Spay/neuter and rabies vaccinations at a discounted price. TCAP offers the humane sterilization of up to 12 feral “wild” cats at each of their 8 DFW area flagship clinics in Allen, Arlington, Burleson, Denton, Fort Worth, Hurst, Garland, and Weatherford.
